Ever had to help a friend with a quest you had already done but forgot where to begin it or how to complete it? there might be some solutions for you between these, or just some other handy quest thingys:
--------------------------------- http://www.curse-gaming.com/mod.php?downid=143 - bc_QuestTextFade Description: Quest Text Fade - Disables the fade in of quest text, allowing it to show up all at once. --------------------------------- http://www.curse-gaming.com/mod.php?downid=463 - QuestBank Description: Has a new way to store the quests. Uses a LootLink look. Tooltip shows npc that it was gained from, location, completion/abandoned, and how many parts of the same quest where completed. (if the quest has multiple quests).
ALL OLD QUEST DATA WILL BE UPGRADED AUTOMATICALLY TO NEW FORM. (Thank heavens right?)
Color Coordinated: -Light Blue = completed quest -yellow/red/orange/green = standard lvl color of current quest -light green = abandoned quest that was never completed
you can use /questbank to show or hide the window
NOTE: This does not store passed quests but rather any quest you do while QuestBank is installed --------------------------------- http://www.curse-gaming.com/mod.php?downid=145 - QuestFade Description: The Quest Fade AddOn removes the quest text fade-in delay. --------------------------------- http://www.curse-gaming.com/mod.php?downid=449 - QuestHistory Description: An in-game history of quests accepted/completed/abandoned
- Logs all quests that a player receives and records them in a sortable in-game list - Notes can be added to quests - Records the following information for each quest:
*Quest title, objectives, rewards, items as shown in the normal QuestLog
*NPCs giving and completing the quest
*Location of player when quest was accepted/completed
*Level of player when quest was accepted/completed
*Played time of player when quest was accepted/completed
*Times quest has been abandoned/failed
*XP rewarded for quest completion
*Money rewarded for quest completion
- Only records quest data from the time the addon is first used - Does not modify any of the game's original files
Instructions: To install, just extract the zip file into your World of Warcraft directory. Then in game, you can use /qh or /questhistory to open the window. Alternatively, there is a QuestHistory section in Key Bindings where you can bind a key.
Once you bring up the main window in game, you should see a list of your quests. You can sort this list by clicking on one of the column buttons or by selecting a sort method from the drop-down box. For more detailed information on the quest, simply click on it in the list and a detailed window will open. --------------------------------- http://www.curse-gaming.com/mod.php?downid=147 - QuestLevel Description: This mod provides level info on each quest. --------------------------------- http://www.curse-gaming.com/mod.php?downid=148 - QuestLink Description: Want to share quests with a friend to see who's got what quest? Now you can! Using QuestLink you can view your friends quests so long as they have the mod installed as well. This mod will only work with those individuals that have the MOD installed.
How to use:
1) Be in a party with the person you want to share quests with
2) Right click their portrait and select QuestLink
3) That's it!
This mod does NOT require Cosmos. In fact it doesn't require anything other then dropping it in your addons folder. This mod is NOT QuestShare so stop asking!
Please extract the rar file (you have to use winrar sorry winzip users) to your interface/addons folder.
So the result of this should be C:wowinterfaceaddonsquestlink
To know if questlink is loaded check your chat box. It should state that it was loaded successfully. --------------------------------- http://www.curse-gaming.com/mod.php?downid=149 - QuestMinion Description: Quest Minion is a tool that expands and enhances World of Warcraft's basic Quest management capabilities. It provides a fast, flexible method of tracking Quest progress without having to open your Quest Log. Typically, Quests will appear in the Quest Minion palette (hereafter called the QMP) the moment any portion of the quest is accomplished, e.g. your quest to recover six Bear Hearts won't automatically appear in on the QMP until you actually recover the first Bear Heart. You can, however, manually load any Quest into the QMP by opening up your Quest Log and checking the box located to the left of each Quest Name.
Note that Quest Minion can be enabled/disabled from your Quest Log.
